Confusion Over LEET Events

Recently as I have read through the talk of the guild I noticed a pattern in questions asked by newer members: When is the next guild event?

I encourage anyone who checks the website commonly to inform them that events will be posted in the guild MOTD and usually on the website as well. If more new members know about the information the website gives out, they can plan ahead of time to attend the events and help us become victorious in them.

When members ask when an event was and other members regrettably reply that the event already happened, it really kills the morale of the newer members (or even some older ones) that they couldn’t help the guild.

“The events are really exciting and a great time for everyone who attends them,” Visica said, “the more people who are there, the more fun it is for everyone, and honestly who doesn’t love the loot?”

Eats Toomuch wins LEET PvP Tournament

Eats Toomuch won a hard fought battle today against King Luscius to win LEET’s PvP Tournament and walked away with 32 gold. After winning the gold, Eats Toomuch bought PvP tokens (2 gold each) and donated them back to the guild.

After the event, Eats Toomuch said, “It was a lot of fun. I’m grateful for the guys that participated. They showed a lot of respect for each other and it was a great team-building experience.”

“I really enjoyed the tournament.”, remarked King Lusicus, the 2nd place winner who took home 16 gold.

Grim Moss, tournament manager of the event, “I think that it went very smooth for the first time and it will only get better.”

“The tounament took 2.5 hours. Lots of guildies attended and we had a great day of killing!”, said The Vooch, leader of Elite Dragon Chasers [LEET].

Elite Dragon Chasers [LEET] is a multi-world guild in Guild Wars 2.

Their website is at: http://www.EliteDragonChasers.com

20141114: Guild Mission at Shrine of the Six

It started off innocently.  One guildie asked in guild chat, “What are Guild Commendations?”

From there, one became two, two became four.  Calls were made far and wide, and soon enough, the guild had more than their prerequisite twelve members ready for a Tier 1 Bounty Hunt.

“We met at Shrine of the Six (in Divinity’s Reach).  In the end, the guild couldn’t bear the task.  The bounty hunt attempts, failed… twice.”, said The Vooch.

He continued, “That’s OK.  We tried a couple times and failed – #$%^ happens!   We took our time and taught several members about Guild Bounty Hunts, and while several people got their Guild Commendations tonight (the original objective), we didn’t obtain the final objective – killing two NPCs in 15 minutes!”

The Vooch continued, “It didn’t matter.  The guild got their weekly Guild Merits several days ago, and several members simply showed up to help other members to get Guild Commendations.  Some may call it a fail, I call it a win!”.
